Platelet rich plasma drawn from your own blood and injected into the scalp to strengthen follicles and stimulate regrowth.
PRP uses nothing but your own blood. A small sample is drawn, spun in a centrifuge to concentrate the platelets and growth factors, then injected across the scalp where thinning is occurring.
Those growth factors extend the active growth phase of the hair cycle, improve blood supply to the follicle and can wake up follicles that have gone dormant. Because it is autologous, there is no risk of allergic reaction.
A course of three to four sessions four weeks apart gives the best result, with maintenance every six to twelve months. Results are gradual, expect reduced shedding first, then density from around month three.
