Dissolvable barbed threads placed under the skin to physically lift sagging tissue, while stimulating collagen as they dissolve.
PDO threads are made from polydioxanone, the same material used in dissolvable surgical sutures, so they break down safely and completely over six to nine months.
Barbed threads grip the tissue and lift it into a better position immediately. As the thread dissolves it triggers collagen production along its path, which means the improvement continues after the mechanical lift has gone.
It is the strongest non-surgical option for genuine sagging, particularly in the lower face, jowls and neck. It is a bridge between filler and a surgical facelift, not a replacement for either.
